Kirsten Slungaard Mumma is an education researcher and doctoral student in the Education Policy and Program Evaluation (EPPE) concentration at the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, with an emphasis in applied economics. Her research interests include school choice policies and geographic differences in educational opportunities and outcomes.
Prior to graduate school, Kirsten worked in strategy and operations for the national office of Rocketship Education, a growing charter school network based out of California, and at the Chicago Public Schools as a grant developer for federal, state, and foundation competitive grants.
Kirsten holds an M. Ed from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Education Policy and Management and an A.B. in English from Harvard College.
